Turkey sausage

2008/05/28 09:33
Since I'll be gone for a long time (for the camp), I'm trying to finish up the food in the refrigerator.
And what I did today was cooking kimchi soup with all of the left over kimchi.
People usually put pork or spam / sausage in kimchi soup but, because I didn't have normal sausage but some turkey sausage I bought few days ago, I put turkey sausage instead.

(Looks like there is not enough soup)

Today's cooking lesson:
Do NOT put turkey sausage in kimchi soup no matter how desperate you are.
It's not worth it.

It tastes OK - It's just not the best.

Wii Fit

I tried Wii Fit at Diana's house yesterday.
It was interesting, but I couldn't get used to the idea of 'working out' on that white square board.
Think about it: Doing yoga, hulahoops, and other sports activities virtually? (Well, I guess you can't say it's totally virtual since you're actually doing something...) Unnatural. (Not that it matters)
But it looks like it would really work (meaning you would lose weight if you play your butt off every single day) and I know several people who would love this. I don't think I'm ever going to buy one myself, just because I'm not a huge fan of working out. Come on, it's already difficult enough to motivate myself to work out in the real world. Why not enjoy life and only play games in the virtual world? I would rather buy Wii. (...)

A random comment that I made at Diana's house:
"There are two major technologies I don't have control over. Cable TV and Wii."
At least Wii controllers have less than 10 buttons. I can never figure out the TV remote with 50 buttons.

FREECELL!!!!

I've known this game ever since Windows xp came out, but I'd never been this addicted before...
In Windows Vista [AKA the evil one], when you finish a game, it shows you the record of how many times you have won and calculates the chance(%) of winning. (And yes, I'm becoming obsessed with that number.) If you close the game or start a new game without finishing, the number drops. The only way to make the number higher is to win the game. However, it allows you to play the same game as much as you want by going back and starting over - the magic of control + z - so you don't have you worry if you fail; Just don't give up.

The design and the animation of the game changed a lot in Vista, and of course it's 'better looking' compare to xp, but there is one little thing that I miss from xp: The man(king) who shows up everytime you win the game.

(This guy)

I don't understand why they kicked him out from Freecell when they were making Vista.
Did they think this guy was not good enough for Vista?
Was it because of his look? Was it? Was it?

Came back from Chapter Camp '08 !!!
The camp sight in Jasper Georgia was beautiful and getting to know Intervarsity students from other colleges was very exciting! The food was amazingly great (I gain 3 pounds over the past 5 days) and God had taught me a lot about leading a small group Bible study. I...needed that.
I thank God for the safe trip and the awesome experience I had !

*PS. T-Mobile never works at rural areas.

The quality of the pictures isn't that great since I took it with my cell phone.

This was for my CAD/FAB class. I finished working on it today.
Some other students came up to me when I was working and asked what class this was for, and I think I made them want to take CAD/FAB class all of a sudden...

*The original design was from google patent. I traced it on Rhino and changed the design a little bit.

I just had an interview on the phone. I'm going to WORK AT A CAMP DURING SUMMER!!!
The camp is called Concordia Language Village, and it's going to be at  Minnesota.
Minnesota....I've never been there before. Awesome.
So friends, I'm not going to be here in GA from May 31 to July 20. Don't look for me.
